What an Accomplishment!

Living Beyond Hope partnered with Ms. Mwaonera Chiremba in 2015, when Arnoldine was just getting started. Ms. Chiremba has done a very good job coordinating activities at the Arnoldine Secondary School to build it up to where it is today. When she started in 2013 at Arnoldine with just 7 students, there was no running water, no formal classroom buildings, no textbooks, and no furniture for the students.

For the last 6 years, Living Beyond Hope has worked with Ms. Chiremba in collaborating efforts to build a secondary school for the Arnoldine community. LBH provided the money, and Ms. Chiremba and her team worked hard to make sure the money was put to good use. Today at Arnoldine Secondary School, there is running water, two completed classroom buildings which accommodate 200 students, furniture in the classrooms, books, and teachers’ housing. During all that work, Ms. Chiremba also managed to complete her university education. Ms. Chiremba received her bachelor’s degree in education on December 3rd 2021.
