Other projects in the Arnoldine community being supported by LBH donors:
Arnoldine Clinic was started in the 1960s by Winnie Thomas, who had come to Arnoldine with her husband Dr. Norman Thomas as missionaries. The project started small and today the clinic serves communities within a 20 mile radius, seeing on average 60 patients a day. They also have 4 to 5 baby deliveries every week. The clinic has 3 nurses, 2 nurses aides, and 1 maintenance person. During our Living Beyond Hope Fundraiser in May of 2019, the Stevensville United Methodist Church Women donated 21 receiving blankets for the Arnoldine clinic. There are so many needs at many levels at the clinic and the donation of these blankets was received with gratitude both from the staff and the mothers of the new born children.
