Meet our Scholarships recipients

We are in our third year providing scholarships for 6 children from Arnoldine Secondary School. Without your help education would have been out of reach for these children. In Zimbabwe students who intend to go to the university have to attend a total of 6 years of high school. After completing the first 4 years the students are required to take national examinations and if they pass they can proceed for the 2 additional years of advanced high school referred to as Lower 6th (L6) and Upper 6th (U6).

Arnoldine Secondary school is still in its infancy stage and only provides the first 4 years of high school. After the 4 years, the students have to move on to other schools which offer L6 and U6. Currently we are supporting 3 students in L6 (2 girls and 1 boy) and 3 students in U6 (3 boys). We managed to secure a place for each one of these students at United Methodist institutions. These are boarding schools where the students stay there 3 months at a time and 1 month on holiday. So they have 3 segments they attend per year and each segment cost $300 per student.
