Dr Rosalie Kumbirai Katsande

A registered legal practitioner, Dr Rosalie Kumbirai Katsande teaches Research Methodology and Theories, and Perspectives in Women’s Law at Midlands State University (MSU) and at the Southern and Eastern African Regional Centre for Women’s Law (SEARCWL). In addition, she is extensively involved in the supervision of Master’s students’ field work and dissertations.

A Ph.D. graduate from the University of Zimbabwe, Dr. Katsande’s research interests include developing theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of the socio-legal aspects of women’s participation in the economy in Africa. Her research has been commissioned by the British Academy, UNDP, IDRC, Danish, and Norwegian Embassies.

As a board member with Living Beyond Hope, Dr. Katsande’s legal and communication skills serve an integral role in implementing many of the directives of Living Beyond Hope within the Arnoldine community.
